Teamed up here with Dave Holland, Edward Versala and fellow Pole Tomasz Szukalski there are mixed tones of European jazz with smokey sounds. Produced by Manfred Eicher this period of mesmerising creativity by ECM has never since been equalled. The vinyl quality quite superb as these pressings were manufactured by Deutsche Gramophone.
