Please note: This is being delisted due to a non-paying bidder. ++++++++ One of the rarest Furtwänglers, the withdrawn 1953 VPO Eroica, here in remarkable condition, seldom seen like this. The jacket is truly NM if not NM+, almost absolutely no signs of wear whatsoever, no discoloration at all; original record shop stamp is the only mark, and it is of course original (see photo). Vinyl is NM, although it should be noted that Urania was not a premium label so the surface appearance is not the perfect sheen one would expect on a Decca; the pressing does appear to have some extremely faint inherent smudges. Stampers are the much more scarce "AB" on both sides. Cleaned in a VPI machine and placed into a new sleeve; I will include the original cellophane sleeve. It is quite possible this was never removed from the sleeve prior to my acquiring it. This is a truly unusually gorgeous copy of one of the most sought after LP records. All grading is visual only. I am happy to combine for shipping. I will require Priority Mail and insurance on this item. Also, please note that for international sales I do not falsify customs forms.
