About This Record. Here's another cool rare slab of vinyl from my record vault, THE rarest stock USA LP, an original USA copy of Black Sabbath's Volume 4 Black Sabbath Vol 4 The VERY FIRST USA pressing with -1A/-1A matrix numbers [YEAH!!] that are ETCHED into the trail off area, meaning you can feel them with any part of your finger, soft or hard. Yes this has the gatefold LP with cool photo innersleeve that opens up. I am the original owner of the LP cover, but have upgraded the vinyl after I bought this in October 1972, and the cover finished HIGH school and college with me (stored carefully with my name and date on cover). Vinyl plays great but has some inconsequential visual flaws, but the cover, while it has strong seams and spine, has my name written on it, and light cover wear. Please see Details below and CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading Cover/Vinyl of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are now taking care of my vinyl thought about our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels. I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And two plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me). Please note that I work for eBay and this link is to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html I have no clue who works in the Collectibles Division and am not involved in any policy or other decisions that go on; I just happen to like vinyl and happen to work at eBay Cover Condition: VG because I wrote my name at 2 o'clock on the gatefold cover. This has the cool color innersleeve that is a one pager but awesome and opens up in the innersleeve (see photo). The inner is in EX+ condition with just light folds from when my girl friend used to touch it. The Cover's spine and seams are intact but have less than the usual ring wear and shelf wear associated with this release (because I stored it in a plastic innersleeve even 30 years ago), and any other black covered LP cover. NOt so bad. Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic. Vinyl Condition: EX-. Plays EX/better with minor exceptions, but Looks VG+ with paper marks and a few VERY light but noticeable stylusmarks, some of these being of the long variety. This is the original USA copy with the green label, and it is REALLY tough to find an original green label; kinda like the last UK Vertigo label Black Sabbath (OMG, was that . . .Volume 4 . . I think so!) Ah HA Ah HA. Green Label USA = Vertigo or maybe I am thinking of that Alfred Hitchcock movie. Labels: EX/better with light spindle marks (Please see photos of all labels) Inserts: Comes with original (I think) totally plain paper innersleeve, but also comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach! OH my gosh!!. Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage. Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I will ship by any method you want. But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase by requesting insurance, or expensive International Priority Mail, then please understand the record will be shipped at your own risk and not mine. I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human.. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please add sales tax!
