Description Up for auction is a well-used vintage carrying case for 78 rpm records. Made by the Josephson Manufacturing Company, it measures 11" x 8" x 11" tall and has a leather handle. It dates to the 1940s and is in fair-to-decent shape with normal wear and tear for an item of its age. Someone painted it gold at one point which is now wearing off at the edges. The latches and hinges work without any problems. The inside has the original attached cardboard dividers with numbered tabs and holds up to fifty 10-inch records.
