Side 1 Program No 13 1) Remember- Benny Goodman, Opening Theme 2) Roll em -Benny Goodman 3) Got a date with an Angel- Hal Kemp 4) I'm an old cowhand Side 2 Program No 13 1) Goodnight Sweetheart - Ray Noble 2) Object of My Affection 3) Strip Polka- Johnny Mercer 4) Little Brown Jug- Glen Miller 5) Remember- Benny Goodman- Closing Theme GI Jillwas the disc jockey host ofGI Jive, a music program on theArmed Forces Radio Serviceduring World War II. She was notable for her positive effect of her personality and music selections on American troops' morale and for being "universally credited with being the No. 1 overseas attraction" on AFRS. By the end of January 1945 she had made 870 broadcasts. I have not played the record since it is too large to play on my player. Looks In excellent playable condition. Flexible 33 1/3 rpm. Probably played once as part of a radio program. Found in a storage unit in Southern NH.
