Description For your consideration is the legendary WENDY & LEMMY 7" single/EP featuring WENDY O. WILLIAMS from the PLASMATICS and LEMMY from MOTORHEAD singing a duet/cover version of Tammy Wynette's country music classic "STAND BY YOUR MAN". This is on the original BRONZE RECORDS label, and it was made in 1982. The band personnel consists of PLASMATICS guitarists Wes Beech and Richie Stotts, Lemmy on bass, and Phil Taylor on drums. The B-side features MOTORHEAD standard "NO CLASS" with Wendy on vocals (Plasmatics would cover "No Class" on their 1983 LP Coup d'etat) and PLASMATICS number "MASTERPLAN" with Lemmy on vocals. The record is rarely played and is in EXCELLENT, BARELY-USED condition. The upper edge (opening side) of the picture sleeve shows some typical handling-related crimping (this is visible in the photos), and the center areas of the picture sleeve have some shiny rub-marks and impressions of the vinyl record resulting from storage (these are not visible in the photos). The white areas of the picture sleeve, particularly the top edge have yellowed very slightly with age: although this is visible in the photo, it is not nearly as pronounced as it appears in the photos. Otherwise, the picture sleeve is in very good, nearly excellent, condition with the printing still strong, the sheen still very apparent, and only rub-marks (none of the printing has rubbed off). The conditions of the picture sleeve and the record itself are ALMOST NEW, definitely record-shop condition. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. It was rarely played and has been stored in hospitable conditions for its thirty-two year vintage. The picture sleeve will be wrapped separately from the vinyl record during shipping to prevent pressure marks on the paper items; and the record will be contained in a generic poly-lined sleeve. For the BUY-IT-NOW price:Immediate payment is required (Ebay's rule, not mine). The buyer is responsible for shipping charges. International buyers should wait for an invoice before paying as the shipping calculator is not always correct for international shipments.
